Abstract

Tubixaba parva sp. nov., is described from the southern border of the Kruger National Park. It is much smaller and less slender, has a small-sized odontostyle and a relatively longer tail than the type and only species, Tubixaba tuxaua Monteiro & Lordello, 1980 from Brazil. The generic diagnosis is slightly emended to accommodate the new species in Tubixaba.
